LEARN. MEET. BUILD.
Workshops & Learning Gatherings
Learn something useful. Practice it together. Carry it home.
Practical knowledge grows when we share it. NBWSAA is developing gatherings where people can ask questions, practice a skill and work toward stronger Black-owned businesses, families, neighborhoods and lasting institutions.

What We Can Explore Together
These are possibilities for future gatherings. Each announced session will have its own purpose, facilitator and learning plan.
Business & Ownership
Turn an idea into a clearer plan, understand costs and prepare for customers.
A useful takeaway: a planning question answered or a practical next step identified.
Community Projects
Identify a local need, organize the work and consider responsible partnerships.
A useful takeaway: a shared priority, draft task list or clearer responsibility.
Everyday Skills
Explore practical know-how for families, growers and people strengthening their everyday knowledge.

Leadership & History
Learn from lived experience, community history and the institutions Black Americans have built.

Learn and Work Together Online
Distance should not keep useful knowledge and good ideas apart. A live gathering can connect people across cities, neighborhoods, churches, businesses and community organizations for demonstrations, questions, guided practice and shared planning.
Choose a ready session. Read its goal, audience, facilitator and full details. Registration opens only when that session is ready.
Prepare to join. After registration, follow the confirmation and joining instructions. The website explains the session; a separate online meeting service provides the live room.
Practice and take a next step. Use the participation options and materials described for that session. Any follow-up or replay will be stated in its details.
