New Black Wall Streets Across America connects builders, Black-owned businesses, organizations, institutions, and community members who care about economic restoration and the future of Black communities.
WHO WE ARE CONNECTING
People with professional knowledge, practical skills, lived experience, and a willingness to serve. Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Community organizations, churches, schools, nonprofits, and institutions. Local builders whose work can connect with a larger national vision. Community members seeking trustworthy ways to learn, participate, and support the work.
WAYS TO CONNECT AS THE WORK DEVELOPS
1. Learn the mission and review the public pathways.
2. Identify your city or state, skills, service interests, and availability.
3. Join a welcome orientation when invited and review the approved materials.
4. Contribute through an approved service role, partnership, or local planning pathway.
LOCAL WORK. NATIONAL CONNECTION.
City and state organizing begins by listening to residents, identifying local needs and assets, mapping Black-owned businesses and responsible partners, and documenting practical priorities. The national umbrella is being developed to connect shared standards, tools, knowledge, and lessons across communities—not to take over the leadership or legal responsibilities of independent organizations.
Independent businesses and organizations remain responsible for their own decisions, services, finances, statements, and obligations. Connection does not automatically create ownership, control, partnership, agency, endorsement, or affiliation.
PARTICIPATION STATUS
The movement is in its foundation-building stage. Application, orientation, chapter, committee, and partnership pathways are being organized. Expressing interest, completing orientation, applying, interviewing, or volunteering does not guarantee membership, employment, compensation, appointment, funding, a contract, board service, or any future role.
