Welcome. New Black Wall Streets Across America is being developed as a national umbrella builders’ movement rooted in Black history, community love, organized spending, Black-owned business support, ownership, financial education, local organizing, leadership development, and long-term community wealth building.
We are not starting from nothing. Our ancestors built businesses, schools, churches, banks, newspapers, hospitals, farms, neighborhoods, and movements. We honor that inheritance by protecting what remains, restoring what was interrupted, and building what future generations will need.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to advance Black American economic restoration by helping people discover existing assets, strengthen Black-owned businesses and institutions, prepare for ownership, organize locally, and connect responsible city and state efforts through a shared national vision.

This is the developing public home of the full organization—not the private Member Orientation Hub. Use the five pathways to explore the work:

WHERE WE ARE NOW
New Black Wall Streets Across America is in its foundation-building stage. We are organizing public information, governance and operating materials, participation pathways, leadership support, and the digital structure needed for future work. Current pages distinguish what exists now from what is planned, in development, or dependent on capacity and approval.
WHAT IS BEING BUILT
Planned and in development: an opt-in Black-owned business directory and referral network; business support and buy-local campaigns; workforce, apprenticeship, certification, and employer connections; financial education and ownership-readiness workshops; youth entrepreneurship and mentorship exploration; homeownership education and qualified-provider referrals; local chapter development; and future business showcases, convenings, and an economic-restoration summit as capacity and approvals develop.
These offerings are not yet guaranteed or fully operational. Specialized services will be delivered or referred through qualified providers and responsible partnerships.
MEMBER & BUILDER ORIENTATION — PRIVATE
The Orientation Hub is one smaller, private component for approved participants. Organizational service begins with an expression of interest, a 15-minute welcome orientation call, review of the Hub and Builder Orientation Handbook, and a full application only when invited.

Participation at this stage is voluntary and unpaid unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise. Described roles are interim or proposed. Orientation, application, volunteering, or early service does not guarantee employment, compensation, appointment, membership, board service, a contract, or any permanent position.

THE FUTURE BEGINS WITH A CHOICE
Dr. Claud Anderson’s teachings remind us that changing our economic condition begins with changing our minds—and then changing what we choose to do together.
We can choose to remain scattered consumers, or we can become organized builders. We can allow our dollars, skills, businesses, knowledge, and influence to strengthen everyone else’s communities, or we can intentionally use them to strengthen our own.
That change does not begin with permission from outside institutions. It begins when we decide that Black ownership matters, Black businesses matter, Black knowledge matters, and Black communities deserve institutions designed to serve, protect, and sustain them.
A changed mind produces changed behavior. Changed behavior creates stronger businesses, greater ownership, better-prepared families, accountable leadership, and institutions our children can inherit.
Our future will not build itself. It must be chosen, organized, financed, protected, and carried forward by people willing to move beyond conversation and participate in the work.
New Black Wall Streets Across America exists to help turn that choice into coordinated action—connecting our people, strengthening our economic foundation, and building toward a future in which Black communities possess the structure, ownership, and collective power to thrive.
The question is not whether change is possible.
The question is: What will we choose to build together?
WHAT WE’RE BUILDING NEXT
New Black Wall Streets Across America is developing future paid membership and city- and state-level leadership pathways. These programs are not open yet. No dues are being collected at this stage.
Under the vision being developed, approved local leaders would help connect and represent members in their communities, identify city and state priorities, and organize approved meetings, conferences, vendor events, business-development activities, and community programs. State leaders may eventually bring local priorities into national conventions and representative decision-making.
The exact membership levels, dues, election or appointment process, voting rights, responsibilities, accountability standards, and authority of city and state leaders are still under development. They will begin only after the organization’s legal formation, governing documents, financial controls, written policies, and required approvals are completed. Paying dues will not automatically guarantee a leadership position, employment, compensation, board seat, or authority to act for the organization.
